With Sal as our realtor, my husband and I just closed on a house we absolutely love, about 2 months after we started looking. In this very competitive market, that is an impressive timeline. There are several qualities about Sal we love; he is always on time, very responsive, but most importantly he never pressured us into making any decision. He gave us his recommendations and let us decide our offers. He also has a very keen eye for detail. As we toured houses, he would point out things that we would never have caught ourselves and we came to rely on his opinion about houses very quickly. As first-time home buyers, we had no knowledge of the process but at our first meeting with Sal, he explained the process, told us what we should be looking out for as we toured houses and to never feel pressured to put an offer on a home except, we love it. I remember after we lost our first offer, he said, “Don’t give up guys, your house is out there” Well, he was right, we got our house! He also explained the different home styles to us. I mean, we didn’t know what ranch, quad or colonial were prior to Sal explaining them to us. Might sound trivial but we found that knowledge useful as we searched for homes to tour.
